What to Expect
Whether you are a skilled artist or have never picked up a brush, these workshops will enable your deepest self to find its way onto the canvas.
Most workshops are in-person, sometimes with a virtual or in-person guest. In each workshop, I share my skills and techniques as an artist, while creating an experience through which the paints become a tool for soul-discovery. My approach is honest and whimsical—designed for individuals of all beliefs and backgrounds. While learning a range of techniques, you will experience art as a way to play, feel, heal, let go, and become.

Kate’s Garden is a family-owned flower shop in Markham, Ontario. For the past 25 years, they have been beautifying the lives of my family and friends with their stunning floral arrangements. They also offer a range of workshops and demos, with small class sizes, a hands-on approach, and a simple make-and-take format. It delights me to no end to bring an art workshop to their space and to connect our shared passions for beauty, creativity and community.

Catherine Shea Studio is located in Mexico, featuring a gallery space with original artwork, plus online and in-person art classes for all levels. It is owned and operated by Canadian Catherine Shea, whose artistic roots began 40 years ago in Ontario. Catherine has been my art teacher and mentor since the beginning of my abstract art journey. We are a kindred duo, both as friends and co-facilitators. To my soul-based approach, she brings her expansive suite of technical skills and contagious artistic energy.
